Rain today...just wasn't feeling a tempo run in the rain...at least not after Saturday's soaking. Tread run with 30 second sprints every 5 minutes starting @15 after warmup etc...laddered the speed of them up to the fastest and thought the treadmill was going to launch me at the top.

Legs feel very good after the run! Tomorrow another 6.5er and then an easy 8 on Saturday with Mark...will probably do some MP miles on Saturday just to get some speed work in.

I don't blame you for not wanting to run in the rain.

How much faster do you think you are this year than when you did Newport last year? I'm wondering if I can keep up with you.

Last year I ran about an 8:20ish pace I think...this year should get me 8:00 pace I'm pretty sure...(fingers crossed) Just have to come in under 3:31 and I'm good to go for Boston. Look forward to seeing you there...

You definitely earned some "dry" miles!

Love the TM run.

Sounds like things are going perfectly if you can do speed work and the legs feel great!

So awesome!
