First day of official training for Top of Utah marathon. Been running on the treadmill lately a lot due to crappy weather...cold, windy and wet...

Today was 45ish, cloudy and nice for a run. Ran 5 on the ridge with some smaller hills. 

9:07 pace is kinda slow but OK...will look to do 3 more runs this week as weather looks halfway decent. Meaning not too cold and not much rain in the forecast.

Rainy and my calves are a bit tight from the run on Monday so hit the treadmill for a 4 mile with 3 hill climbs and 2 speed runs included.

4 miles easy on the tread and will look to go 10 miles on Saturday outside(hoping for good running weather). Feeling good and looking forward to running outside for my runs as we get some decent weather.

Perfect running weather today...partly cloudy with mid 50's temp. and no wind or rain.

Easy run in Snoqualmie(flat) with a couple miles on the Sno. Valley trail.

Started out with a long sleeve tech shirt and short sleeve on but after 4 miles ditched them along with my hat as it was making me sweat a LOT.

Lungs were feeling great but legs got a bit tired at the end so finished up with an 8:10 mile. The first nine were run at 8:58 pace, just going easy.

Legs are feeling really good from the slow buildup to this.
