55 degrees and overcast...perfect running weather. Had to take Tori to school because the friend that normally takes her to Seminary goes to fast start so I will be taking her to school the rest of the 2 weeks left.

Went to a church social on Sat. Night and was talked in to running a couple more races this summer. First one is June 20th, which is exactly 3 weeks from the marathon...not sure if that's a little too quick to run a 10K that soon after a marathon? The other is late July in Seattle for the Seafair Torchlight run 8K. My friend Mark Howard runs this every year and says it's really cool at the end there are a ton of people cheering you on.

Ran on the track to save my legs from the pavement pounding. That's a lot of round and round.

Did harder than easy but easier than moderate. Splits are 8:43, 8:27, 8:24, 8:25, 8:31

Sun popped out after 4 miles or so and started to warm up nicely. Looks like  a nice week for running.

Is that the Fall City Days race on the 20th? I'm thinking about running the 5K if they have one. So, 20 laps? Are you dizzy?

Sno-

I think that there is a 5 K. There was 2 years ago when I ran it. That would be great to see you there.

Good workout. I don't think that is too soon on the 10k. It will be a good run, and if your not feeling it that day just treat it as a training run, and when you get to the end turn around and run it backwards. :-)

I definitely don't think that is too soon to run another race. I ran an 8k a week after running Sapper Joe, which was basically a marathon (20 miles, but with 3300+ft of elevation gain - that has to feel about the same, right?).

I have a 17 mile race with 4000+ ft of elevation gain this Saturday and I plan to run a marathon with 4500 ft of elevation gain two weeks later. But I'm also an idiot. Don't listen to me.
