Nice weather...mid to upper 40's with a little wind. the hills were tough with the wind though.

Overall pace 8:57 with HR 153(a little high)

Was fun to crunch some leaves(no idea why I enjoy that)

Crazy Week...Sick daughter, marriage turned 21 on Thursday and other things took precedent over running.

Glad to get out and run with Larry and Snoqualmie. We met at Centennial park @ 7:30 then took off to North Bend and made a stop at Grandma's house for water. Had a tiny bit of ice in the little bit of rain we encountered. Then back to the park and finally a quick lap there.

Then off to have crepes with a few families to fuel back up. Good times-

40 degrees but otherwise a perfect running morning. Sun is even partially visible. 

Did a different run than normal with a few extra hills so slowed down a bit.

Splits 9:01, 9:31, 9:17, 9:12, 9:11, 8:59

Avg. HR 149 (fitness suffered last week with only 2 running days)

Low to mid 30's so decided to run the tread. HR stayed quite low even though I was going faster than normal. HR high was 146 but with some breathing exercises and form work it came down to 144ish.

Will run a hill workout on Sat. morning to kick things up a bit. Then off to watch my 5 year old run a 1K and then I'm volunteering with the Turkey Trot.

Woke up at 6:30 and checked the therm...bad news - 32.9 and icy. Tread run with a hill sandwiched right in the middle. Worked it pretty good then for good measure hit .5/mile faster for an extra minute at 10% grade, that got the HR up to 170. The cool down seemed so easy after that hill.

Went to the Turkey trot and ran part of the 1K for kids with Amanda. Then off to make sure people stayed at the right areas running. It was great to see Snoqualmie there and she took either 2nd or 3rd place and got a cool trophy sort of a thingy. Saw a lot of other people from church and around the neighborhood. Then pancake breakfast at the elementary school.

Easy 4 on the tread...still have a little bit of a cough so will stay in if possible.

The flu last week took 5 lbs off me. Gonna shoot to run 6 on Wed. then 4 or Thurs. and then another 6-7 on Sat.

Felt pretty good this morning during the run.

Run in Snoqualmie from RR area then to Mill pond then to centennial then to Golf course and back mill pond rd.

Windy! Tough going in parts. Ran with Larry. 

Avg. Pace 9:41(way too slow)  Avg. HR 150(way too high)

Next run tomorrow a.m. 4 miler on the trails at the ridge.

Tonight we have our traditional Thanksgiving dinner then leftovers the next few days.

Had Thanksgiving dinner last night and really carboloaded so I HAD to run today!

Larry and I each ran from home and met at the trailhead to go from Carmichael to the Parkway. Wet and soggy trail run with the hills. Ran about a quarter mile on the parkway hill also. Felt good to be out running. Light rain at times but not bad at all. Sure is easier running with someone else.

Next run Saturday. Going to park up at Tokul and run the Sno. Valley trail towards Carnation. Probably 6-7 miler.

Snoqualmie valley trail run this morning with Larry.

We ran from the Tokul road entrance(slight downhill grade) out 3 miles to where we encountered a road and a very large Doberman. Yikes! No leash nor fence but it turned around when we did. Memo to self: get a can of pepper spray for next time I run here.

What a beautiful place to run! Perfect weather, low 40's and no rain in sight but it was overcast.

Nice day for a run and felt good to be out there after a great week of running last week. Overcast and low 40's. Run at the ridge with hills that kicked my HR up to 160 at times.

Was planning 5 but felt really good so went 6. Going to try to get at least 5 but preferable 6 minimum on runs from here on out.
