Almost 60 degrees. Nice weather. My legs are stiff and sore from 2 softball games on Monday night. Didn't seem like it was that much running since I hit like my grandma who's 6 feet under.  This run is a street run at the ridge.

Felt good starting out though. Took a slightly hillier than normal to get a decent workout in. HR stayed at a very reasonable level too. HR avg. was 139. Pace avg. was 8:38 with these splits 8:39, 8:57, 8:33, 8:29, 8:37. Now I'm drinking accelerade as that stuff seems to keep me from getting so sore.

Next run: Thursday probably another 5-6 miler

You play softball for FHE?

Hahahaha. It's ok if the whole family comes to watch and you sing a song before you go up to bat.

Well....it's the only day we could get in. Half the games start at 6:00 and most of the families show up for that. The other ones start at 8:30 so it doesn't interfere with FHE. It just interferes with my sleep dang it. Last week I didn't get home until 11:15.

Gotta love those FHE softball games. It always amazes me how a different sport/activity effects different muscles. I guess we really should cross train hu!

Good run!

I'm the HPG 1st assistant and the coach is the EQ 1st counselor so we figure we can change church policy :-)

Hey, I'm 2nd assistant, and I don't see any problem with it. Sounds like about the right amount of authority for a policy change.

You hit like a grandma, huh???

I have some Accelerade in my food storage. Got a good deal on it ... it had an awesome expiration date on it. Maybe I should pull it out and try it!

Nice run there grandma!! :)

Burt, You have to at least be a 1st something so you can't do any policy changing. Sorry, you just get bossed around and have to go do all the late night stuff when people call and need a blessing at 1:00 am.

Teena, That Accelerade works well for me but it tastes like chicken and not really in a good way. I need to get out to a batting cage soon...plus I haven't been to any practices and my throwing is terrib...not the best.
