Had to take Tori to school for wasl testing so I stayed over there and ran the sno valley trail. 40 degrees and wind coming in from North bend so 1st half was a little slow.

Big Easter dinner with 2 helpings of strawberry shortcake didn't help the cause.

But my guess is the the strawberry shortcake and most likely the people, conversations, and laughter that came with it were by far worth it!! :)

I hate wind!! :)

Great way to start the week. For you, that is! WASL - ug. So glad we don't have to do that one; my sympathies to Tori. It is a terrible test, may it soon be abandoned (there is talk, I hear).

Thanks, Jeff! Yeah it was super great! Kind of funny now that I think of it that an "easy recovery ride" is nearly 2 hrs long! Easter was a blast. Got to hang out with a lot of my family :)

What WASL?

From Snoqualmie on Wed, Apr 15, 2009 at 11:56:00 from 67.171.56.164

Washington Assessment of Student Learning. And I was going to think up a clever alternative with those initials to express my disgust with it, but I don't have time. Ah well. It's a state of WA test.

Where ya been, Jeff? Hope to see you blogging soon. :)

Monte,

It's what Sno said previously and it's being phased out I think after next year. Don't know why they don't just cut it if they are going to get rid of it?

Thanks for clearing that up Sno :)

Who knows why they do things, Jefferey? Bureacracies are strange creatures.
