Niner in Snoqualmie. Started at the Railroad area and then to Mill pond rd. then straight out Sno valley trail to Grandmothers house I went. Loaded with Powerade and then back through town.

Around 20 degrees. Was in Gma's house for about 5 minutes and got nice and toasty warm. When I went back out it was COLD on wet skin.

The mid-week hill runs are doing a great job of getting the fitness back.

Avg. Pace 8:58   Avg. HR 144(love that!)

That happened to me too this morning. Stopped by home to fuel up and just when I felt so toasty warm I stepped back outside, in all my sweatiness, and Yikes!

I think the valley was at least 5 degrees colder than the Ridge this morning.

Great run!

Sno - Especially down in the valley where it was colder. I'm working on a January date for dinner and will let you know.

T - It feels GREAT to be able to do some longer runs. Still going to ease on up but still do it gradually. You seem to be on top of your game lately and with no pain. Awesome!!

The one thing I've been paying attention to as you've made your way back to your normal self is your heartrate. It has really come down while your pace has increased the last couple of months. That's cool.
