Power hill run today. Treadmill. 15 min. warm-up normal easy run pace then 5 min. @ same pace with 5 incline HR topped at 158 then 2.5 min @ 0 incline HR dropped to 138 5 min. @ 6 incline HR up to 162 then 2.5 min easy HR down to 142 5 min @ 7 incline HR up to 167 then 2.5 easy HR down to 144 5 min @ 8 incline HR up to 173 then after 2.5 min HR back @ 144 5 min cooldown. Great workout and was working on form and breathing while doing the hills. Had to resort to some mouth breathing to get enough oxygen on parts of the last two reps. Finished up after the run with some sprite and eggnog mix. Man that was good!
